DFL Policies
No Items should be removed from the studio without making a reservation request. If the item is not in the reservation system, it is not available for checkout and should not be removed from the room.
Faculty and Students can reserve the different stations in the DFL (VR, AR, and Video) via the online form, and can request ID access to the DFL outside of Open Hours if needed. Before reservations can be confirmed, the requestor must set up an orientation/ consultation on the reserved station with the Digital Futures Fellow. Email DFL@UTK.EDU to set this up, or stop by during open hours.
After initial meeting, netID of requestor is sent to the Admin Office with expiration date (defaults to end of semester). Admin office then sends the request to Access Management. The process can take 1-2 weeks.
All Equipment marked with a yellow tag is Digital Future Fellow Research Equipment. This equipment should only be used with explicit permission from the fellow.
Door should remain closed at all times during studio reservation.
Users should only interact with equipment on which they have been trained/ oriented.
Do not install or remove any software or files from shared accounts on Lab computers
